Diabetes News: Diabetes, Obesity And Erectile Dysfunction – Abstract
Diabetes mellitus (DM) and obesity affect the entire population of the United States and the world. These diseases are among the most common risk factors for erectile dysfunction (ED) because of their effect on the vascular system and the hormonal environment.
This article gives an overview of the current literature on the relationship between grades, obesity and ED.
After the words “for erectile dysfunction, endothelial dysfunction, Hypogonadism, diabetes and obesity, a systematic review of literature in the PubMed database. Publications in English (up to August 2008) were identified.
ED is common among men with obesity and DM, in May and serves as carrier of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in this population at high risk. In addition to male hypogonadism and macro-vascular endothelial dysfunction is essential for the connection between metabolic syndrome and ED. Conversely, to improve glycemic control and weight loss is to improve erectile function.
ED is common among men with obesity and brands. It is increasingly recognized as a leading clinical indicators and an incentive for patients with cardiovascular disease. Role of the Organization of the ED-drug therapy to improve endothelial function are currently under investigation.
