Olympia Dukakis Called For Diabetes Screening
Academy award winning actress Olympia Dukakis said she was surprised that only 10 percent of the adult population in the United States for the detection of diabetes in Medicare benefits.
“Seven in 10 people age 65 and have diabetes or diabetes, and less than 10 percent of older people have shown – that is statistics,” Dukakis told United Press International in an interview.
